Searched out Beneath

Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
(Jeremiah 31:37) KJV

The interior of the earth is not seen. The hope of our generation is that hell is a myth. That would mean that there’s no judgement for sin and we can live immoral lives without fearing any consequences.

Unfortunately the very same data that SciPop uses as evidence that there’s no hell may be used as evidence for hell. That’s how evidence works: it’s evidence of whatever you choose to believe about it. This is known as Matty’s Razor.

We all have exactly the same evidence.

IF God will cast off the seed of Israel,
1. If heaven above can be measured,
2. the foundations of the earth can be searched out beneath,
BUT God doesn’t cast off the seed of Israel,
THEN:
1. heaven above can’t be measured,
2. the foundations of the earth can’t be searched out beneath,

Why were there no Cherubim or flaming swords necessary on the North, West and South of Eden? Eden was surrounded on three sides by unscalable cliffs over which four rivers flowed as waterfalls.

Genesis 1 vs. Genesis 2

Genesis 1 and 2 aren’t contradictory, they have different narrative style. People who want them to conflict are looking for an excuse to dismiss the truth, because they don’t want the truth.

SciPop has a rationalization for why there’s no hell or great gulf of open space inside the earth, because SciPop wants to be an antidote for guilt, and the fear of of judgment and eternal torment.

They are Without Excuse

Creationists make the error of thinking that the science vs. faith debate is centered around evolution. This is an error for 2 reasons:

science requires faith,
the process of evolution fits into the Biblical young-earth narrative.

Flat Earth is not Biblical

The Bible describes a spherical earth at the center of a spherical cosmos. The center of earth is an expanding hell. Flat earth is a Satanic deception.

IF God will cast off the seed of Israel if the foundations of the earth may be searched out,
AND we know that God does not cast off the seed of Israel,
THEN the foundations of the earth may not be searched out.
