The Firmament Rabbit Trail

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

(Genesis 1:6-8) KJV

One of our favorite ways to study the Bible is to follow a doctrine through from the first time it’s mentioned to the last. This is a great way to develop understanding of the doctrine in the broad narrative of scripture.

Where Light Dwells

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. (Daniel 12:3)

Do you know where the light comes from
or what the source of darkness is?
Can you show them how far to go,
or send them back again?

(Job 38:19-20) Good News Translation

Night results from the obstruction of light. To separate them God has to cause the darkness to accumulate into a ball at the center of creation. Night, technically, is most concentrated inside the Earth.

What is Life?

Then God commanded, “Let the water be filled with many kinds of living beings, and let the air be filled with birds.”

(Genesis 1:20) Good News Translation

The biological definition of life and what the Bible describes as living aren’t the same thing. This is important to know as we see how the process of creation unfolded.

Math = Faith

But people will tell you to ask for messages from fortunetellers and mediums, who chirp and mutter. They will say, “After all, people should ask for messages from the spirits and consult the dead on behalf of the living.”

You are to answer them, “Listen to what the Lord is teaching you! Don’t listen to mediums—what they tell you cannot keep trouble away.”

(Isaiah 8:19-20) Good News Translation

Faith is believing in something that you can’t see. Math requires believing in concepts that you can’t see, and relating them to each other in ways that can’t be seen. Math is inductive, reductive, circular faith.

Theory is the Scientific Word for Faith

It is by faith that we understand that the universe was created by God’s word, so that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.

(Hebrews 11:3) Good News Translation

The words faith and theory are synonyms. Sight and empirical are also synonyms. Empirical evidence is what we see. What we choose to believe about it is our faith.

Gravitational Drag Effect (GDE)

Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.

(John 9:41) ESV

It’s not possible to prove that the Earth is rotating. Experimental results which have formerly been used as a way to prove that the Earth has daily rotation are examples of Gravitational Drag Effect.

The Vanishing Point

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

(Ecclesiastes 3:11) ESV

We deduce that each human soul is a gravity node, combine it with the doctrine of redemption, incorporate gravitational time dilation (GTD) and weave it seamlessly into the broad narrative of scripture.

Decoding Gravity

Then the Lord said to his people, “Keep watching the nations around you, and you will be astonished at what you see. I am going to do something that you will not believe when you hear about it.

(Habakkuk 1:5) Good News Translation

The mechanism of gravity acts on our spiritual condition. Believing in Jesus Christ is the power to overcome gravity and escape the Earth and its outcome. This is why Jesus is the name above all names.
