The Law of Gravity or the Law is Gravity?
Death gets its power to hurt from sin, and sin gets its power from the Law.(1 Corinthians 15:56) Good News Translation
If we accept an effect as being its own cause then we’ve done something called inductive reasoning, where our premise is used to supply evidence for our conclusion. It’s also called circular reasoning.
We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) deduced a theory of gravitation from the Bible. The somewhat odd conclusion that we arrived at yesterday is that A gravity (Agape gravity) is God’s love. Mathematically that could be written as:
A gravity = God’s love
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.– Matty’s Razor
However, in math the two sides of an equals sign [ = ] have to be exactly the same. The thing is, there’s more to God’s love than gravity. Gravity may be part of God’s love, but it is not all of God’s love. M gravitational attraction (Mosaic gravity) is the power to bind sin, but God’s love includes the power to escape from it. Based on our deduction yesterday we must adapt our original conclusion to this:
M gravity = the Law
The language Paul uses throughout the book of Romans is that we’re bound by sin and death according to the law, but that we’re free from it through faith in Christ. The law condemns us, but it doesn’t have the power to change our sin nature:
What the Law could not do, because human nature was weak, God did. He condemned sin in human nature by sending his own Son, who came with a nature like our sinful nature, to do away with sin.(Romans 8:3) Good News Translation
We have clearly seen that gravity is the agent used by God to bring about the permanent separation of light from darkness, good from evil, perishable from imperishable. We’ve come to understand that the creation is a refinement process designed to gather up and dispose all of the imperishable corruption in creation. Our featured verse today is from a larger passage which uses similar language to combine these concepts:
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.– Faith, definition
What I mean, friends, is that what is made of flesh and blood cannot share in God’s Kingdom, and what is mortal cannot possess immortality.
Listen to this secret truth: we shall not all die, but when the last trumpet sounds, we shall all be changed in an instant, as quickly as the blinking of an eye. For when the trumpet sounds, the dead will be raised, never to die again, and we shall all be changed. For what is mortal must be changed into what is immortal; what will die must be changed into what cannot die. So when this takes place, and the mortal has been changed into the immortal, then the scripture will come true: “Death is destroyed; victory is complete!”
“Where, Death, is your victory?
Where, Death, is your power to hurt?”
Death gets its power to hurt from sin, and sin gets its power from the Law. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!(1 Corinthians 15:50-57) Good News Translation
We can deduce the same conclusion that we did yesterday, but with a different derivation:
- IF the sting of death is sin,
- AND the strength of sin is the law,
- AND the law is M gravity,
- AND M gravity binds corruption,
- THEN we escape M gravity (the law and corruption) through faith in Jesus Christ.
Spiritually we leave this life and go on to a new one in Christ. Physically we escape the gravity of Earth and go to heaven. Conversely if we reject Jesus Christ then we’re bound with the corruption – in hell.
- Call upon the name of Jesus Christ,
- believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
- confess your sin.
The reason why we’re digging so relentlessly into this is that there’s another conclusion waiting for us which is going to tie a lot of this together and close the loop, but we aren’t ready for it yet. However this gives us a way to understand why the mainstream science (SciPop) freight train jumped the tracks so long ago and went steaming off in the wrong direction. It’s because of a failure to comprehend, or acknowledge, the relationship of cause and effect. Failure to acknowledge, or a deliberate reversal of, cause and effect is at the root of a condition that the Bible refers to as a reprobate mind.
