They went into the ark with Noah, two and two of all flesh in which there was the breath of life. And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him. And the Lord shut him in.

(Genesis 7:15-16) ESV

There were two horses on Noah’s ark, a mating pair, now there are at least seven species in genus Equus. That’s macro-evolution. Christians need to stop whining about it.

Why is the Interior of the Earth Hot?

But now I tell you: if you are angry with your brother you will be brought to trial, if you call your brother ‘You good-for-nothing!’ you will be brought before the Council, and if you call your brother a worthless fool you will be in danger of going to the fire of hell.

(Matthew 5:22) Good News Translation

Why is the interior of the Earth hot? The answer is summarized as: “we don’t know,” which is odd because most people believe that mainstream science (SciPop) knows exactly how the Earth works.

Planet earth after Noah's flood was the super-continent Pangaea

Pangaea

And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

(Genesis 11:1-2, 8-9) KJV

It’s an accepted belief in popular science (SciPop) that, at some time in the past, all of the continents were part of one super-continent. This is known as Pangaea.

Gamaliel’s Counsel

Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space; And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men. For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed. And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

(Acts 5:34-39) KJV

I’m celebrating a lot of things, not just coming to the end of another month of the “Why Did God Create Creation?” epic year-long blog. We only have September and October to go. I am also celebrating the accomplishments to date of the year 2018, which began with me finding myself out of work, courtesy of the kind folk at Wake Forest University.

The Pangaea Super-continent after Noah's flood

From Tehom to Sheol

But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’

(Luke 16:25-26) NKJV

After Noah’s flood the region in the interior of the Earth, formerly occupied by the great deep (tehom), is now a great gulf or mega chasm of open space that Jesus spoke of in Luke 16:26 (sheol).

Putting God to the Test

Acts 5:38-39

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

Continuing my celebration of new life, I will be blogging about the accomplishments that have been made since it began in the days to come. Yesterday I noted that, at the time my new life began, I was neck-and-neck with Wake Forest University in Twitter followers.

Where do we stand today?

I have repeatedly said that the existence of the one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is a predictive testable hypothesis based on Malachi 3:10. There is another predictive testable hypothesis for the existence of God in Acts 5:33-39 – Gamaliel’s Counsel.

He warns his fellows in the religious leadership that if the new Christianity, that they were trying to eradicate, is of God then it is going to succeed. Fighting against it is to fight against God.

In the time since I departed, Wake Forest University has added 2,600 followers. That’s about the size of the incoming freshman class and their parents. In the same time span I have added 11,600 followers, and lately I have gotten really lazy with implementing my social media growth strategy. Life has been so rich and fulfilling that Twitter just doesn’t seem very important any more.

The question is: Does Wake actually have a social media growth strategy? It looks like they are asleep at the wheel.

Enduring Noah’s Flood

Cutaway of planet Earth showing the relative depth of Noah's flood

<< Previous | Next >>

Upper Noachian

Some people have gone to great lengths to be able to say that there is presently not enough water on earth to flood it to a depth of 15 cubits above all mountains. They use math to do this so, naturally, everybody believes them because, hey, it’s math. Those folk are, sadly, depending of the philosophical foundation of nineteenth Century Uniformitarianism. Uniformitarianism is the belief that the conditions on earth have been so stable for so long that the conditions of the present day are a sufficiently accurate indicator of conditions in the past.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

There are several reasons why the math-based flood-deniers are not even in the same ball park:

  1. they have not considered the great deep, a vast open space inside the earth (replaced in the scientific paradigm by the outer core) which was full of water,
  2. they have not considered an extra terrestrial source of water which, we are told, was part of the event,
  3. they have not considered that the mountain ranges they use as a measure, i.e. the Himalayas, did not form until AFTER Noah’s flood,
  4. and they have not considered that the earth’s radius has shrunk dramatically since the time of the flood.

So, just because a bunch of flood-deniers can wave some math around, don’t believe it. If you want to see some math on how much water was available in the great deep see the post Noah’s Math.

New Life

Ephesians 5:11

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

I got fired from Wake Forest University on December 11, 2017. I ought to remember the date because it’s my Dad’s birthday. The management did a technically perfect logistical shuffle to get me out, but I sincerely hope that their motivation to do it was my growing presence on social media.

On that Day, December 11, 2017 I was almost equal to Wake Forest University in Twitter Followers. The screenshots here side-by-side were taken on December 19, 2017 eights days after I was fired.

This was the beginning of my new life.
