Why was there a tree of knowledge of good and evil if God had created a perfect world? God didn’t create a perfect world, he created a corrupted one. Now we can understand the difference between corruption and sin.

The last thing we want to clear up is this: when God said to Adam, regarding the tree of knowledge, for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Adam didn’t die. As we saw yesterday, he began to die. Biological senescence started.
“in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” Adam didn’t drop dead the moment that he ate the fruit, he lived for 900+ years. Is this a contradiction?
Then the Lord told me to say to the people, “Listen! I, the Lord, am giving you a choice between the way that leads to life and the way that leads to death.

Evolution requires the passage of heritable traits from one generation to the next. If reproduction hasn’t taken place, then evolution is impossible.

We resolve the apparent conflict between what God said would happen to Adam, vs. what actually happened to Adam, when he ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge.

We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) found a statement of the role of gravity in the plan of redemption and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Romans chapter 8 resolves as Newton’s second law of motion (F=MA).
