The third heaven is the dome or firmament, which is a sea of glass. It’s a rigid crystalline sphere on the edge of space which formed in response to the creation of gravity on the second day.

The Pillars of Heaven

The pillars of heaven tremble, And are astonished at His rebuke.
(Job 26:11) NKJV

Most English versions translate the pillars of heaven as the foundations of heaven, or the foundations of the heavens, so there may or may not be actual pillars in heaven which we have to account for.

The Foundations of Heaven

And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
(Revelation 21:19-20) KJV

Knowing how the firmament is constructed lets us interpret scripture and account for empirical observations of the cosmos, including 90% of the mass of the universe that mainstream science (SciPop) can’t find.

Jasper and Jacinth

And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
(Revelation 4:3) KJV

The properties of Jasper and Jacinth give us two confirmations of Hypothesis 31 that gravity was created on the second day and caused the firmament to form as a series of crystal forms with a range of properties.

We can deduce that the firmament, a rigid sphere of crystal on the edge of space which has been detected by the Voyager and New Horizons space missions, shines as brightly as the sun by comparing two passages.

Deducing the Presence of the Firmament

We can use Principle VI to deduce the nature of stars from current scientific research and what we know about the firmament, a rigid sphere made up of at least 12 layers of different crystal structures.
