Void > Full

Stylalized ball-and-stick water molecule

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

(2 Corinthians 5:21) NKJV

God can’t abide sin, he can’t look on it. Yet in order for free will to be a possibility, sin has to be possible. How does a perfectly pure and righteous God create a world where evil exists? He became sin for us.

The Lamb of God

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

(John 1:29) ESV

All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

(Revelation 13:8) KJV

Why was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world? So that light could become darkness, good could become evil, the sinless could become sin, and we could have sentient life with free will.

Deductive Reasoning

“To whom will he teach knowledge, and to whom will he explain the message? Those who are weaned from the milk, those taken from the breast? For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.”

(Isaiah 28:9-10) ESV

It’s not a good idea to pull Bible passages out of context because we’ve decided what we want them to mean and then proclaim that we have some new doctrine. That’s inductive reasoning, or eisegesis.

Spiritual Separation

Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”

(2 Corinthians 6:17) NKJV

Separation is a scriptural doctrine which is generally thought of in terms of Christians holding themselves apart from the rest of the world and avoiding worldly distraction which can lead us into sin. There’s more to it than that.

The Universe is Made From the Components of Water

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

(Genesis 1:2-3) NKJV

Axiom I is “The Universe is Made From the Components of Water.” We can deduce Principle I from the following physical evidence, empirical observations or established theories which are part of Axiom I.

Gravitational Lensing

Conceptual image of a satellite orbiting the Earth with a wire mesh gravity well

God made a home in the sky for the sun;
it comes out in the morning like a happy bridegroom,
like an athlete eager to run a race.
It starts at one end of the sky
and goes across to the other.
Nothing can hide from its heat.

(Psalms 19:4b-6) Good News Translation

We observe the gravity of the sun causing light from stars to bend. It’s called gravitational lensing. This shows that light has properties of both waves and particles, but everything is energy when it comes right down to it.
