Comfort My People
Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and cry to her
that her warfare is ended,
that her iniquity is pardoned,
that she has received from the Lord’s hand
double for all her sins.
A voice cries:(Isaiah 40:1-5) ESV
“In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be lifted up,
and every mountain and hill be made low;
the uneven ground shall become level,
and the rough places a plain.
And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
and all flesh shall see it together,
for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
In November we consider unfulfilled prophecy in the context of the spherical hollow Earth model that we deduced in March. How does 3D modeling affect our understanding of the plagues of the tribulation?
declaring the end from the beginning(Isaiah 46:10) ESV
and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
and I will accomplish all my purpose,’
We’ve spent a lot of time looking back in history but this has been, in part, for the purpose of understanding the future. We’re going to use our 3D Earth model to help us deduce the future of the Earth as time leads up to the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.– Matty’s Razor
The theme of today’s passage is clear: Prepare ye the way of the Lord. What follows looks like flowery poetic language but let’s see what happens if we use Hypothesis 22 and take it at face value as the description of geophysical processes. If every valley were lifted up, and every mountain and hill made low, then we’re talking about massive changes to the landscape. If all of the nations (continents) will flow together then we have to consider the movement of tectonic plates. The description appears to be a complete flattening out of the landscape such that, no matter where you are, you’ll have an unobstructed view of the Lord in His glory.
We’ve heard Pastors preach on this passage and others like it that it’s a prophesy of satellite TV. Let’s go beyond that. When the Lord comes to take His place on the throne in Jerusalem everybody on Earth (all flesh) will see it together. What else could it mean but a change to the physical surface of the Earth of such magnitude that nothing has been seen like it before?
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.– Faith, definition
The Broad Narrative
This month’s devotion is called The Lifting up of Jerusalem. We’re have to understand it in terms of the broad narrative of scripture. The universe has an absolute frame of reference and we can deduce that Jerusalem is located on the site of the former Eden.
The great deep, stored in chambers beneath the surface of the Earth, upwelled in Eden and fed four waterfalls, each the head of a river. Since water naturally flows downhill the logical conclusion is that Eden is the highest point, as described in the meaning of the Hebew word rosh. As such, the garden of Eden was situated on a broad plateau at the summit of a mountain that filled the whole Earth.
These rivers watered the surface of the Earth until they returned to the great deep and circulated back through the Earth. This conclusion is deduced and it gives us the pattern for the Millennial Kingdom hydrological cycle, as described by Ezekiel.
- Call upon the name of Jesus Christ,
- believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
- confess your sin.
If you ever take a look at what various commentaries have to say about the fulfillment of prophecy, particularly in the book of Revelation, you’ll see total confusion. Revelation contains three separate accounts of the same events. However, most people think that it’s speaking of three different events. Our work to reconcile these three accounts has taken the better part of 20 years and it’s summarized in a Google spreadsheet.
The Lifting up of Jerusalem Worksheet
Over the next month we’ll make the case, using scripture to support a 3D model, that the entire surface of the Earth will be reshaped into one mountain with Jerusalem at the summit in preparation for the Millennial Kingdom. Jerusalem will become the summit of a mountain that fills the whole Earth. It will once again be the source of a hydrological system which waters the whole Earth. Glory be to God!
