Pangaea 2.0

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

(Isaiah 2:1-2) KJV

The mountain of the Lord’s house will be established and “all nations will flow to it,” isn’t flowery poetic language. It’s as literal as literal can get – if we’re willing to accept it and understand what’s involved.

The first part of the tribulation involves the movement of the continents into one contiguous landmass which has Jerusalem at the center. The thing which will help us to come to terms with the reality of this statement is to understand the mechanisms which are involved and this requires us to interact with the current state of knowledge about the processes which take place within the Earth.

This may come as a surprise to you but the state of knowledge of these processes is particularly poor and it can be summed up with three words: it’s anyone’s guess.

A case in point is some recent reporting on work underway that attempts to “understand,” what is going on in the interior of the earth. The reporting is, as always, filled with the breathless excitement of a new discovery. Unfortunately the thing that the scientists don’t appear to have discovered is that they haven’t discovered anything, it is all made up.

The work sets out to establish whether or not movements of the tectonic plates affect currents in the mantle or vice-versa. It is inconclusive because, let’s face it, they don’t even have their model right in the first place.

What force could move the continents into a contiguous landmass around Jerusalem? Let’s consider the possibility of mantle plumes. Again, we have some breathlessly giddy reporting about just such a phenomenon.

This article is really a why and sarcastic rebuttal of the breathlessly giddy reporting which makes the observation that we have made above:

I was in the midst of reporting this interesting but maybe not so revolutionary paper about a geophysical model and suddenly a bunch of other people saw the press release, didn’t bother to read the paper, then went insane and decided that scientists made a huge discovery. That’s not what happened.

– Ryan F. Mandelbaum

Scientists didn’t make a discovery. Scientists made up some more narrative. Be that as it may. We are being prepared for the possibility that there are mantle plumes. We are also being prepared for the possibility of tectonic changes of “biblical proportions,” even though we don’t realize it. It is almost as if the Peer Review propaganda machine is positioning itself to be able to give a non-Biblical excuse for these events when they occur.

All of the elements are in place. The pump has been primed. The minds of our young people have been seeded with everything they need to be able to ignore the significance of these events when they start to happen.

As we have discussed, the Church will not be raptured out of the world until the seventh trumpet. All of the continents have to be in place as a contiguous landmass before that happens. We may live to see a flurry of breathlessly giddy reporting that all of the continents are rapidly moving closer together.
