The Mystery of God

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

(Revelation 10:5-7) KJV

If all of the impurity and corruption has been disposed of in the lake of fire in outer darkness then the center of creation is free for God to inhabit with his people: those who chose him because they had freewill.

How could the mystery of God be finished? By the fulfillment of the purpose for which creation was made.

The purpose of creation is to bring about the permanent physical separation of light from darkness, day from night, good from evil.

At the end of the Millennial Kingdom several things take place:

1. Satan is cast into the lake of fire,
2. Earth and heaven fled away,
3. The final judgment,
4. Death and hell cast into the lake of fire,
5. Anyone not listed in the book of life cast into the lake of fire.

Satan and the Lake of Fire

We have speculatively identified the planet Venus as the lake of fire. It has been cooking for millennia its mixture of fire and brimstone for this specific purpose: it will be the final repository for all of the impurity and corruption of creation, the majority of which had accumulated around the gravitational singularity at the center of the Earth.

Earth and Heaven Fled Away

Earth and heaven fled away? We can understand this as the Earth and what’s left of the heavens are vaporized. The elements themselves will melt with fervent heat means that the physical matter of the universe will dissolve into its sub-atomic components.

And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

(Revelation 20:9) KJV

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Let’s not forget testable hypothesis 22

Predictive Testable Hypothesis 22

• IF the Holy spirit is the power of God to inspire human writers,
  • AND the physics of the universe has been encoded into scripture so that it’s
    1. obvious and
    2. invisible
• THEN phrases or words that look like biology, chemistry, geology or physics should be treated as if they are biology, chemistry, geology or physics
  • AND the science will be congruent with the scriptural context.

The elements melt with fervent heat. Heaven dissolves. The peer review propaganda machine is hard at work getting everybody ready for this. Here are a couple of breathless terror-inducing headlines which, when you read more than a paragraph, go on to dismiss themselves as so unlikely as to be irrelevant. But the seed has been planted in your mind.

• We’d only have 15 minutes of notice if a space storm were to hit
• 15 MIN APOCALYPSE Devastating space storms could strike Earth at any time and we’d only have 15 mins notice

Final Judgment

Souls who are in hell because they rejected Jesus Christ will be judged.

Death and Hell are Cast into the Lake of Fire

Hell is temporary, the lake of fire is permanent. It’s similar in concept to someone who gets arrested for a crime. The arresting officer takes them to the local lock up, jail or some kind of holding facility. That’s hell. When a judge or magistrate is available they review the charges and render a judgment on the appropriate outcome. It might be prison. That’s the lake of fire.

Anyone not Listed in the Book of Life is Cast into the Lake of Fire.

This is the outcome. The lake of fire is a permanent solution to the storage of the impurity and corruption of creation. It will be sent drifting off into outer darkness.

And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The mystery of God is finished. However, we have been given some tantalizing clues about what the next world will be like, and that’s what we will consider in the daily devotional for December.
