The Host of Heaven
Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.(Nehemiah 9:6) KJV
The heaven of heavens is the firmament (third heaven). The “the host of heaven,” is everything above the atmosphere. We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) discern between heavenly bodies (inanimate) and entities (sentient).
And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.(Daniel 8:10) KJV
In this passage the host of heaven is referring to the stars. Some of them are going to be cast down to the ground.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.– Matty’s Razor
The Stars of Heaven (Inanimate Objects)
And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.(Isaiah 34:4) KJV
We have established that the primary purpose of modern astronomy is to make you think that the fulfillment of this prophecy is impossible. It uses the phrase host of heaven to refer to, among other things, stars. Not just stars in general, but the stars which will fall upon the Earth during the tribulation. These are things that we would refer to as asteroids and, when they come in contact with the Earth, meteorites.
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.– Faith, definition
An Assembly in Heaven (Animate Creatures)
And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.(1 Kings 22:19-21) KJV
In this passage the host of heaven is referring to animate creatures in an assembly around God’s throne. God’s throne is located above the firmament. A wide variety of heavenly beings are described throughout the Bible. These beings include spirits, as we see in the passage above. Spirits include what are elsewhere referred to as Angels.
And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.(Hebrews 1:7) KJV
It appears that the phrase host of heaven includes animate creatures and inanimate objects. The animate creatures are sentient beings in the assembly of the Lord. Inanimate objects are mostly crystalline firmament material (CFM). Broadly speaking the host of heaven is everything above the atmosphere. Can we us the distinction between animate and inanimate as the basis for a classification? We could consider animate creatures as heavenly entities, and inanimate objects to be heavenly bodies.
The reason for creation is the manifestation of sentient life with free will.– The Reason for Creation
Bodies vs. Entities
There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.(1 Corinthians 15:40-41) KJV
There’s one glory of the Sun? The Bible always refers to the Sun as singular. In Matty’s Paradigm there’s only one Sun. It’s not a star. Stars aren’t suns.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.(Genesis 1:16) KJV
So far we have deduced that the Sun formed around a gravitational singularity which is tuned to the specific frequency of Hydrogen. It was created for the purpose of gathering up all of the excess Hydrogen left floating around the cosmos when Oxygen was bound into the compounds and sediments which formed the earth and the firmament. It formed the great light which marks for us day time.
The purpose of creation is to bring about the permanent physical separation of light from darkness, day from night, good from evil.– The Purpose of Creation
Animate = Sentient
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.(Psalms 19:4-6) KJV
This passage indicates that the Sun is sentient. Is this flowery poetic language or is it the clue we need to continue our investigation? Using the premise of Hypothesis 22 we will proceed with the assumption that the Bible describes the sun as sentient BECAUSE THE SUN IS SENTIENT.
Using the distinction between animate and inanimate, and considering the possible equivalence of animate with sentient, it would seem that the Sun is a heavenly entity as opposed to a heavenly body. Not only that, he’s male. We have the beginning of a classification.
The Heavenly Host, Classification 1
- Entities (animate, sentient)
- including Spirits, Angels and the Sun,
- Bodies (inanimate)
- including the moon and stars.
When we consider the vast array of heavenly bodies which are visible to us with modern telescopes there’s a class of objects called galaxies. Part of the definition of a galaxy is that it’s a gravitationally bound cluster for stars and stellar remnants etc. The Sun, a sentient being, is an accumulation of Hydrogen around a gravitational singularity. Can we assume that the presence of a gravitational singularity is the difference between an entity and a body?
Is gravity the difference between bodies and entities? This is profound, it opens up a window of opportunity for research and discussion, and we’ll begin working on it tomorrow.

- believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
- confess your sin.
