I’m Not a Scientist…

O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge— by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith.

(1 Timothy 6:20-21) NKJV

“I’m not a scientist…” is the response that we (that’s me and the Holy spirit) used to get whenever we tried to talk with a Pastor about science. It precedes an admission of ignorance.

We say used to get because we gave up trying to talk to Pastors about science, not because they all suddenly figured it out. A problem that we encounter among church folk, including Pastors, is that they aren’t scientists. They freely admit to it. They’ve soldiered along in faith believing the Bible within the popular science paradigm (SciPop). For this they’ll be richly rewarded.

We have a significant advantage in that we are a scientist who’s diagnosed all of the flaws in SciPop and can propose a new paradigm. The new paradigm is free from the baggage imposed on it by a scientific community which is run by intellectual elites who are, by and large, progressive liberals and rabid atheists.

Now the problem is: how are we going to wean believers off a scientific paradigm which was designed by atheist intellectual elites to make the Bible look stupid, when they’re convinced that their credibility depends on it? It’s warped.

Such as it is it’s all part of God’s will so there’s no point worrying about it. It may be that we’re going to see a generational evolution. The current generation of people who believe the Bible within the false narrative of godless existence (SciPop) have to pass away and let a new generation take over. Our youth will be able to grow along with this theology because they haven’t had time to build up barriers against it.

The Lord could come back at any minute or, alternatively, he could allow the Earth to continue for another 1,000 years. We’re not going to pin our hopes on either one, the best plan is to be prepared for both.
