So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
(2 Corinthians 4:16-18) NKJV
We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) have an illustration from Physics that shows how Biblical literalists don’t have an inkling of the extent to which the Bible can be taken literally.
We’ve used the Bible to deduce a plan for the particle physics of the universe. We’ve deduced the source of Hydrogen used in nucleosynthesis, ostensibly the Big Bang, and the energy needed to cause the Big Bang. Now we’re going to calculate the mass of the universe and do two things:
- Give a literal interpretation of today’s featured passage,
- Refine the current mainstream science (SciPop) model of the universe.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.
– Matty’s Razor
We considered the words physical and spiritual and found that they’re not suited for use in our discussion. The words visible and invisible are ideal. Today’s passage uses seen and not seen which are synonyms. We can add a twist of irony and add two other synonyms, sight vs. faith and empirical vs. theoretical.
State | Usage | Concept | Condition | Scientific |
Visible | seen | sight | temporary | empirical |
Invisible | not seen | faith | eternal | theoretical |
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.
– Faith, definition
Omega Oxygen (αO) has an electric charge equivalent to 2-, the same as elemental Oxygen (eO). this is the reason why eO is written as O2-. O2- has a nucleus made of equal numbers of protons and neutrons so its atomic number is 8, but its atomic weight is 15.999. However αO is not made from protons and neutrons because it predates nucleosynthesis, it’s atomic weight isn’t the same as O2-. αO and O2- are both atomic number 8 but since αO is completely pure its atomic weight is also 8.
Element | Symbol | Atomic Number | Atomic Weight |
Hydrogen | H+ | 1 | 1.008 |
Omega Oxygen | αO | 8 | 8 |
Atmospheric Oxygen | O2- | 8 | 15.999 |
If the total mass of the observable universe (being the material constructed from Hydrogen (H+) during nucleosynthesis) is M, then the amount of H+ used in nucleosynthesis is M(H+). Since the universe was created from the deep and the formula for water is H2O then there must have been an equal amount of H+ bound to αO that wasn’t used in nucleosynthesis. The total amount of H+ in the system is 2M(H+). If there was an equal amount of αO bound to M(H+) then there was M(αO).
Salvation
- Call upon the name of Jesus Christ,
- believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
- confess your sin.
Here’s where we are going to get to:
- IF 2M(H+) and M(αO) were necessary for creation,
- AND αO is the equivalent to a mass of 8M,
- THEN the total mass of creation is 10M.
- The observable universe is 1M.
- THEREFORE 90% of the mass of the universe is missing.
Except that it isn’t missing, it’s unseen. The observable universe is inside the firmament, a sphere of rigid crystal on the edge of space. We can’t see the firmament but all current cosmological models show that it has to be there. Since the firmament can’t be seen, but we have evidence that it has to exist, it’s theoretical. This places the firmament on equal footing with something else which is theoretical: black holes and dark matter.
