And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.(Isaiah 66:23) KJV
The Millennial Kingdom will have a sun and moon, although the sun will be a dim glimmer compared to what it is now. The majority of the light in the Millennial Kingdom will be the glory of the Lord who now inhabits Jerusalem. Here Isaiah is speaking about the Millennial Kingdom.
The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.(Isaiah 40:3-5) KJV
The sun is also mentioned as being present at the time that the Millennial Kingdom is established.
And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;(Revelation 19:17) KJV
At the end of the age when the Millennial Kingdom is replaced by a new heaven and a new Earth, where we will dwell in the new Jerusalem, the sun and moon will finally be gone.
The sun shall no longer be your light by day, Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light, And your God your glory. Your sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself; For the Lord will be your everlasting light, And the days of your mourning shall be ended.(Isaiah 60:19-20) NKJV
An issue that we have to resolve is: What and where is the lake of fire? It may be the planet Venus.
