They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.(Judges 5:20) KJV
Consider this for instance. If this passage from Judges is to be believed, and why wouldn’t we believe it since it’s in the Bible, the stars fought against Sisera. The stars really can’t do that if they’re distant suns and galaxies.

Spy satellites travel at a velocity high enough that they’re in free fall. They’re constantly falling towards the Earth but at the same rate that the curvature of the Earth is moving away from them.

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 66:23) KJV
The Millennial Kingdom will have a sun and moon, although the sun will be a dim glimmer compared to what it is now. The majority of the light in the Millennial Kingdom will be the glory of the Lord who now inhabits Jerusalem. Here Isaiah is speaking about the Millennial Kingdom.

Timothy, keep safe what has been entrusted to your care. Avoid the profane talk and foolish arguments of what some people wrongly call “Knowledge.” For some have claimed to possess it, and as a result they have lost the way of faith.
God’s grace be with you all.(1 Timothy 6:20-21) Good News Translation
We like wry humor here at Matty’s Paradigm. A double-dose of irony with a side of snark. Here’s the definition of what you call Astronomy after it’s been filtered through the lens of Biblical cosmology.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.(Hebrews 11:1) KJV
After repeated failures to detect dark matter whoever comes up with an explanation of why we can’t detect it, which enhances the popular science narrative of godless existence (SciPop), will get a Nobel Prize.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!(Isaiah 5:20) NKJV
All current cosmological models show that somewhere between %80-85 of the mass of the universe is missing. Based on our understanding of particle physics we can move this number up to %90. Where is it?

There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.(1 Corinthians 15:40-41) KJV
Based on our first Principle, God Can’t Lie and the Bible is True, it must be possible to use the Bible to deduce an accurate model of the cosmos. We’re not talking about the Star Trek universe of the popular science paradigm (SciPop).

Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”(Hosea 6:3) NIV
The sun orbits the Earth in a helical spiral. The sun is called Helios in Greek. Either the sun is called Helios because it has a helical orbit, or helices are called helices because they mimic the motion of the sun – Helios.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:(Exodus 20:4) KJV
When we change our assumption from Heliocentric to Geocentrospheric it has an effect on the distance to stellar objects. This is because of the way that stellar parallax works.
