For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
(1 John 5:7) NKJV
We’re going to go off the deep end which we found at the bottom of a rabbit hole: we’ll draw a direct connection between the Holy Trinity and particle physics. By doing so we arrive at a theory of first cause.
We affectionately refer to our theory of first cause as going off the deep end. We’re told that God exists as a Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Only God and the Spirit are mentioned in Genesis 1:2 but we’re elsewhere told that the Son, also known as the Word, was present.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.
– Matty’s Razor
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
(Genesis 1:2) KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
(John 1:1-2) KJV
There are three ways to interpret what we’re told about who and what are present in the beginning. Do we have two members of the Trinity and water, as stated in Genesis 1:1-2; Three members of the Trinity, as stated in John 1:1-2, who happen to be in the vicinity of a body of water; or can we go off the deep end and resolve the Son, the Word and the deep as being the same person?
Scripture | Trinity 1 | Trinity 2 | Trinity 3 | ? |
Genesis 1:1-2 | Father | Spirit | the deep
John 1:1-2 | Father | Spirit | Son/Word
1 John 5:7 | Father | Spirit | Word
[Deduction] | Father | Spirit | Son/Word/the deep |
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.
– Faith, definition
First Cause
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
(Genesis 1:1) KJV
The word God here is translated from the Hebrew Elohim. It’s a plural form of a word. Plural means more than one and we know that God and the Holy Spirit are specifically mentioned, two of the members of the Holy Trinity. If two members combined to beget a third, then this is how there can be a member of the Trinity who claims to be both of the other two.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
(Revelation 22:13) KJV
First Cause and Effect
- IF Alpha, male, God the father
- AND Omega, female, God the Holy Spirit
- THEN Alpha and Omega, neuter, the only begotten, God the Son, Jesus Christ
This is the first ever instance of cause and effect. it’s referred to as first cause. If Christ’s suffering on the cross is a picture of the sacrifice made by the bonding together of H+ and ΩO2-, then what could the darkness at his death be but a picture of the state of the universe in Genesis 1:2?
