Here’s an example of how the popular science narrative of godless existence (SciPop) combines truth and error: real observations are blended with speculation about unknown causes.
Large particle accelerators can replicate the conditions that prevailed after the early moments of the universe, resulting in confirmation and refinement of the details of the Big Bang model. However, these accelerators can only probe so far into high energy regimes. Consequently, the state of the universe in the earliest instants of the Big Bang expansion is still poorly understood and an area of open investigation and speculation.

The error here is believing that particle accelerators are replicating the conditions that prevailed after the early moments of the universe. They aren’t, those conditions are unknown.
The supposed refinement of the details of the Big Bang model is understanding how subatomic particles interact, it has nothing to do with the early moments of the universe. It’s scientific sleight-of-hand. Taking the results of a particle accelerator experiment and applying them to an inductive rationalization of how the universe started is a leap of faith.
Faith is believing in something that you can’t see, because of evidence.

Yes folks, SciPop requires faith. What’s ironic is that the quote talks about speculation, but it gives the impression that speculation is something other than what is stated in the quote. This is deliberate deception, a strong delusion.
For our purpose there’s something very important to understand about the creative work that’s about to unfold: The existence of the deep means that the process of creation doesn’t require God to create anything from nothing. The first law of thermodynamics isn’t broken in the Biblical account of creation. For those of you who think that a scientific theory of creation is impossible, think again.
