The Hawking Effect

One of our favorite books is “A Brief History of Time,” by Stephen Hawking. In this and his other books Hawking expands use of the scientific method as an inductive tool. He opened up the realm of plausibility. In so doing he redefined the term “scientific knowledge.”

Prepare Your Heart

Preparing our hearts doesn’t involve special diets or exercise, it comes down to taking two simple steps: believing in Jesus Christ, and confessing our sins. The sanctification we receive from faith in Jesus makes us a holy vessel in which the Holy Spirit takes up residence. We’re indwelt by the Spirit of God.

God will be seen by those who have a pure heart. So how do we make our heart pure? By seeking God. It’s another example of how understanding the correct relationship between cause and effect is rather important.
