The Time Traveler

there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed (Ezekiel 40)

a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass (Daniel 10:5-6)

I heard the man clothed in linen, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; (Daniel 12:7)

a man with a measuring line in his hand (Zechariah 2:1)

There is a recurring character in the Bible who is, it would seem, a time traveler. The description includes him wearing linen clothes, but his arms and legs appear to be made of polished brass. C-3PO?

Science Falsely So Called

1 Timothy 6:20-21

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. {The first to Timothy was written from Laodicea, which is the chiefest city of Phrygia Pacatiana.

Science is a belief system that is so ingrained in the people of our time that they mistakenly believe that they don’t believe it, it just is.

Truth Is Light, Darkness Is Evil

John 3:16-21

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

It is ironic that the period of history that brought us Galileo, Kepler and Newton is called “The Enlightenment.”

Ironic because this was when the human race took a headlong plunge into darkness.

What Is Free Will?

Deuteronomy 30:15-20

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

God could have created a perfect creation from nothing, he didn’t.

He created a corrupted system which is temporary and bound for destruction.

Why? He did it In order to manifest free will.

Why do we have night?

Genesis 1:3-5

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

If God saw the light, that it was good, why didn’t he just keep it light?

If the ultimate goal is a heaven which is permanently full of light, where there is no day or night, then why did it get dark again?

Is The Bible Literal Or Figurative?

John 4:7-14

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

I believe that the literal parts should be taken literally, but the figurative parts should not. So how do we know what parts of the Bible are literal and which are figurative?

Newton’s Third Law Of Motion

Genesis 1:3

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

God’s command “let there be light,” contained the energy to cause the water called “the deep,” to disassociate into H+ atoms and OH- ions. The H+ was used in nucleosynthesis which generated light.

What Is Water?

Proverbs 20:5

Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.

Science describes the physical characteristics of water, but it doesn’t tell us what water really IS. God chose to use water to form a physical matrix in which souls (nascent minds) could be given life with free will.

The First Law Of Thermodynamics

Genesis 1:1-2

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The Bible tells us that in the beginning God existed in the darkness of space and water existed. The creation was created from this water. Matter was not created from nothing, it was pre-existent as water.
