The Nations Shall Gather at Jerusalem

At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

(Jeremiah 3:17) KJV

There will come a time when God will intervene in human affairs in a very real way. There will be a time of ongoing catastrophes during which there will be chaos, death and suffering unlike anything that has ever been seen.

6/7 Tribulation Rapture

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18) KJV

The pre-tribulation rapture is pastoral fudge. Christians and the Church will be on the earth during six of the seven plagues that are part of the tribulation.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(1 Corinthians 15:52) KJV

The Last Trump is After the First Six

…at the last trump (1 Corinthians 15:52). There will be seven trumpets. This means that the rapture will take place after six of the seven trumpets have sounded. Here’s a quick summary of what happens as the first six trumpets are sounded:

Tribulation 0.86 The First Six Trumpets

  1. The surface of the earth is devastated by burning hail,
    • humans and livestock are affected by burning sores in the skin,
    • the continents move together to form a contiguous landmass.
  2. The first of three extraterrestrial impacts pollutes the sea,
    • everything in the oceans dies.
  3. A second extraterrestrial impact poisons all fresh water,
    • the rivers, streams and lakes turn to blood.
  4. The sun emits solar flares and burns off most of its remaining fuel,
    • it briefly flares 7 times brighter then weakens to a dim glow.
  5. A third extraterrestrial impact ruptures the crust and mantle all around the periphery of the super-continent which has formed,
    • a swarm of horse-sized armor-plated locusts with scorpion tails come out of the depths of the earth,
    • smoke bellows out from the crack in the earth and darkens the sky,
    • the scorpions torment the people for 5 months.
  6. All the armies of the earth assemble for the battle of Armageddon.

Most mainstream evangelical or conservative Christian pastors preach something called the pre-tribulation rapture. It’s a load of dingo’s kidneys.

Isaiah 66

The Lord Will Come With Fire

15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. 19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. 20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. 21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

( Isaiah 66:15-24 ) KJV

Isaiah 2

The Mountain of the Lord’s House

1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

( Isaiah 2:1-5 ) KJV

Now that we understand that during the time of the Tribulation the whole surface of the earth will be moved around, flattened out, and Jerusalem will be lifted up as the summit of a mountain which fills the whole earth, we can understand a lot more scripture besides the prophecy in Revelation.

Rejoicing to Run a Race

{To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.} The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

(Psalms 19:1-6) KJV

The new heaven and new Earth spoken of in the Revelation are filled with the light of the glory of God. There’ll be no day or night, no need of the sun or moon. So what’s going to happen to the sun and moon?

July 29th

Synonymy

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

(Matthew 24:29) KJV

The third axiom of popular science (SciPop) is stars are distant suns and galaxies. It’s part of Galileo’s Bluff, wishful thinking, an inductive rationalization of the premise that stars are distant suns and galaxies.

Dragons and Owls

I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.

(Job 30:29) KJV

Knowing the preferred habitat of dragons and owls will help us to answer the question: if humans and dinosaurs were alive on the Earth at the same time, why don’t we find their remains preserved together?
