Leviathan

May 6

In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

(Isaiah 27:1) KJV

We were recently told that Leviathan didn’t exist but it’s used in the Bible as a metaphor for Babylon. It was on Twitter, so the individual didn’t know what they were talking about.

Evolution Debunk: the Reptile-Mammal Transition

May 4

Who is the man so wise that he can understand this? To whom has the mouth of the LORD spoken, that he may declare it? Why is the land ruined and laid waste like a wilderness, so that no one passes through?

(Jeremiah 9:12) ESV

We began our evangelistic ministry on Twitter thinking that it would be a great way to promote our Christian SciFi novel Biblio’s Blood. It didn’t turn out as expected.

April 5

Vanity of Vanities

The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.

Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity. What does man gain by all the toil
at which he toils under the sun?

(Ecclesiastes 1:1-3) ESV

Principia Mattymatica is a couple of things. It’s a parody of Newton’s Principia Mathematica where we lay out the scriptural basis of a unified theory of everything: first cause, time, gravitation, electromagnetism, consciousness and redemption.

God Encompasses Physics

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for

“‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring.’e

(Acts 17:24-28) ESV

When confronted with an accusation on Twitter our impulse (that’s me and the Holy Spirit, except, usually grieving the Holy Spirit) is to be snarky about the poster’s cognitive dissonance (a way to call them stupid).

Scum and Villainy Cantina

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

(Philippians 4:4-7) ESV

We (that’s me and the Holy Spirit) recently had a Twitter exchange with someone who resented God for their very existence. We got nowhere trying to encourage them to be thankful.

Mainstream Science and the Strong Delusion

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

(2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) NKJV

The truth about God is self-evident but we’ve all been given free will. Therefore there must be a plausible alternative to the truth for those who want it. It’s called the strong delusion or the power of error.

Principle I Summary

for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

(Matthew 13:17) NKJV

If you’ve ever argued as a Christian on Twitter then you’ll know that the Bible was written by, to quote a phrase frequently used by atheist science trolls (ASTs)…

Ignorant Bronze Age goat herders who didn’t know where the sun went at night.

A Horse, a Horse, My Kingdom for a Horse

In that day,” says the LORD, “I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

(Zechariah 12:4) NKJV

Something that we find interesting is: people who profess to be scientifically knowledgeable have hissy fits when they’re told that evolution is the process of genetic decay.
