But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.(1 Timothy 6:9) NKJV
Perdition can be translated “ruin.” Perdition is a nuanced kind of destruction with eternal consequences. It’s not the end of something, as if it disappears. It’s the end of what could have been.
Harmonizing the Biblical doctrine of hell with the internal structure of the Earth is now satisfyingly complete. We resolved scripture with seismology and incorporated it into a theory of gravitation in which hell is part of the purification of creation. This is perfectly aligned with the purpose of creation. There’s nothing in our model which aligns with the notion of purgatory. That’s because purgatory isn’t in the Bible.
The purpose of creation is to bring about the permanent physical separation of light from darkness, day from night, good from evil.– The Purpose of Creation
Yes, before the crucifixion people who died went into sheol, the underworld realm of the dead, and yes, there was a different location and fate for souls depending on whether or not they knew God at their death. However there isn’t anything in the Bible about purification after death.
The purification of creation is the separation of light from darkness, good from evil, which is being brought about by the action of gravity. However, our opportunity to decide if we want to be purified is ours to make while we’re still breathing on the surface of the Earth. When our bodies die it will be too late to change anything.
We all have the same evidence. Our choice of paradigm determines what we think it’s evidence of.– Matty’s Razor
States of Being
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;(Colossians 2:13) KJV
Paul wrote to people who were metabolically alive and told them that they were previously dead, but now they’re alive. Clearly he’s not talking about biological death, he’s talking about their souls. We’ve identified two states of the soul:
- Alive (quickened),
During the days of our time on Earth we can be either dead or alive while our body’s still breathing. The difference between being dead or alive is whether or not we’ve trusted in Jesus Christ and been forgiven of our sins (quickened).
When we take our last breath it’s not the end of existence. We continue to be conscious, aware of our environment and external stimuli. Our soul is a gravity node which continues in one of two states after our body dies.
- Alive (quickened) in a new body in heaven,
- dead, but receiving stimuli and interacting with the environment,
- in hell (temporarily), then
- in the lake of fire (permanently).
A soul is a gravity node with a frequency unique to each individual, it encompasses the scriptural concepts of mind and heart:– Soul, definition
– mind: the seat of our consciousness and personality;
– heart: the emotions and passion which drive and motivate us.
Our soul makes us sentient.
Are you lost? Hell is a physical place which is part of the purpose of creation. It’s not mythological or spiritual. There’s only one way to avoid it: Believe in Jesus Christ.
