The Ground – Adamah
Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. So far we’ve considered features of the surface of the Earth including topography and the development of vegetation. The ground is a translation of the Hebrew adamah, where Adam gets his name since he was made from the dust of the ground.
then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.(Genesis 2:7) ESV
