Every Scribe

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

(Matthew 13:52) KJV

Are we called to be a scribe? We used to think that this was important but not so much now. Anyway, our calling as a scribe is the result of a deductive process which goes like this:

Someone’s Own Interpretation

And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

One of the things which allows Matty’s Paradigm to be consistent with the broad narrative of scripture is understanding that creation has a specific purpose. This purpose harmonizes physics with spirituality.
