The Soul Conclusion

From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

(1 Timothy 1:6-7) KJV

Jesus warned us about hell as the place where unrepentant souls suffer torment. We’re supposed to tell the world that Jesus is the way to redeem our souls and avoid hell. That’s when you encounter this:

“There’s no such thing as a soul because science can’t detect it.”

Do Christians get Social Media?

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

(Matthew 28:19-20) KJV

Given the timeliness of social media the world wide web it would seem to be the perfect vessel for carrying out the great commission. However Christian attitudes to social media are variable.

Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey… Stuff

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

(2 Peter 3:8) KJV

People, even Christians, commonly claim is that the Bible isn’t scientific. One reason being that it doesn’t make any predictions which can be tested. We’ll show you that the Bible is predictive, testable and therefore scientific.

Social Media and the Great Commission

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

(Ezekiel 3:18-19) KJV

We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) are going to warn everyone about hell whether they like it or not. If they don’t listen it’s too bad, but their blood won’t be on our hands.

Fed by Ravens

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

(John 7:17) KJV

Did you know that it’s possible to know God’s will? That is, what to do NEXT? When that’s done, the next task is revealed. It’s like following a trail of bread crumbs, or being fed by ravens. We come to know God’s will by doing God’s will.

Matthew 2000

Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.

(Isaiah 58:1) NKJV

Matty’s Paradigm began years ago as a little booklet called Matthew 2000, published in 1999, in which we effervesced about our salvation and our excitement at beginning to understand science in Biblical terms.

Galileo & The Mind Pirates

I don’t know about you but I’m really having fun.

I mean, destroying the dominant paradigm of modern science is serious business, but I’m really having a blast. It’s not hard for me to be merrily entertained as I work on presenting these ideas across different social media platforms. One driving force is to explain Biblical exposition, another is the rebuttal of the conventional wisdom but a third is the creation of art. I found my self contemplating the direction that the collective will of society has gone and how its direction has been profoundly influenced by certain key players. I’m thinking primarily of Kepler, Galileo, Newton & Einstein.

So then I got the idea that this little quartet was a band like the Beatles going on tour and leading the whole world astray. It’s like a dystopian future where everyone has been trained to think that hell isn’t real.

Except that it isn’t a dystopian future, it’s right now.

Our minds have been captured and held hostage by the Dominant Paradigm of Modern Science, aided by their armies of henchmen, the Peer Review.

We destroyed it, by the way, the dominant paradigm. It’s dead.

Sadly most people will continue to believe it because they are too afraid to confront the reality of life: hell is real and Jesus Christ is the only way to escape.

Anyway I was thinking of calling the piece, Galileo and the Mind Pirates.

I keep myself very entertained…
