The Times of Refreshing

And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

(Zechariah 14:8) KJV

Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

(Acts 3:19) KJV

The times of refreshing come from the presence of the Lord. Jesus Christ will rule the Millennial Kingdom from Jerusalem. We bring together all of the elements in play as Christ’s Kingdom begins.

Jerusalem is the summit of a mountain which fills the whole Earth, the Earth will be restored and the waters healed by a hydrological system similar to the one established on the third day. Jesus himself is going to cleanse and purify the Earth, it won’t be accomplished by a progressive political agenda.

Meanwhile, Satan is in hell. The notion that Satan rules hell and is having a hedonistic party is ridiculous. Satan is going to find himself trapped with the millions of souls who are condemned to hell because he deceived them into believing that Jesus Christ was irrelevant or unnecessary. None of them will be happy to see him. They will have 1,000 years to be able to explain to Satan why they hate him. The main reason, of course, is the agony of their suffering and the even worse horror of knowing that it isn’t going to end. Now would be a good time to remember one of Jesus’ parables.

The parable of the rich man and Lazarus.

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

That’s sobering. We (that’s me and the Holy spirit) demonstrated to you that the description Jesus gives us of the interior of the Earth is confirmed by seismological data. The expansion of hell as the cause of global warming is a predictive testable hypothesis based on ocean water warming data. Hell is real.

If you want to go to hell and gnaw your tongue in pain while waiting in line to vent your hatred at Satan, you can. But why, in the Millennial Kingdom we’ll work with Jesus Christ as we restore the earth to it’s natural beauty. Personally, we want to be a gardener in the Millennial Kingdom.
