The Third Trumpet/Vial

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

(Revelation 8:10-11) KJV

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

(Revelation 16:4-7) KJV

The third trumpet is a 3rd plague which involves large quantities of material falling out of the sky. The stars fall from heaven as the continents are moved into a contiguous landmass.

The Second Trumpet/Vial

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

(Revelation 8:8-9) KJV

And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

(Revelation 16:3) KJV

The 1st trumpet/vial caused hail to fall on the land. That’s because the land, as we see it today, is distributed around the globe in a haphazard pattern. How could stellar material falling in an apparently random manner, and including a great mountain burning with fire, fall only on the sea? Consider this:

A Mountain Filled the Whole Earth

Jagged mountain range

Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

(Daniel 2:34-35) KJV

By adding Daniel to Isaiah and Zechariah we’re starting to build a deep bench of prophets who foresaw the changes that take place at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom.

New Heavens and a New Earth

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

(Isaiah 65:17) KJV

The Millennial Kingdom is what the Old Testament prophets referred to as “a new heavens and a new earth,” but it’s not the new heavens and new earth that John describes in Revelation chapters 21-22.

Comfort My People

Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and cry to her
that her warfare is ended,
that her iniquity is pardoned,
that she has received from the Lord’s hand
double for all her sins.

A voice cries:
“In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be lifted up,
and every mountain and hill be made low;
the uneven ground shall become level,
and the rough places a plain.
And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
and all flesh shall see it together,
for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

(Isaiah 40:1-5) ESV

In November we consider unfulfilled prophecy in the context of the spherical hollow Earth model that we deduced in March. How does 3D modeling affect our understanding of the plagues of the tribulation?
